The college encourages curricular & extracurricular activities for the overall personal development of students through which students can prepare themselves to participant actively in various inter-collegiate elocution, debate & other cultural competitions which is a part of study of curriculum accordingly. We organize & conduct moot-courts, pre-trial lessons, court & jail visits etc. Also, we invite experienced & well-versed practising lawyers, judges & eminent scholars to guide our students on various legal issues time to time. The college always takes initiative for participation of students in moot-court competitions debate & elocution competitions at State & National Level. Our college organizes renowned State Level Elocution Competition in the name of Comrade Bapusaheb Bhapkar every year.
Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Earn and Learn Scheme
Through the Board of Students’ Development and with the financial assitance of BCUD, S.P. Pune University, the college implementing the Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Earn and Learn Scheme in college for the needy and poor student. The main objective of the scheme is to develop a students as a multifaceted personality with academic excellence and commitment to an egalitarian society. To bridge the gap between rural Bharat and urban India, this scheme basically undertakes for the benefit to students coming from the rural areas, who are economically backward, intelligent and meritorious but cannot afford higher education, needy and financially hard pressed. It inculcates in the students the idea that no work is big or small and develops a work culture with the right aptitude. This will make higher education accessible and available to the poor, meritorious and the marginalized. Students working under this scheme are paid an honorarium of Rs. 30 per hour as per the revised rates effective July 2013. As per the attendance sheet, which is to be maintained by the institute. The students are requested to open a bank account at their respective places and cheques make payments.
Personality Development Scheme :
This is a scheme introduced by the University to develop the confidence and personality of girl Students who came from the rural areas and are deprived sections of society. The marginalization and deprivation is double if you are a woman and from the backward or scheduled castes. The main objectives of this scheme is to develop a critical mind, self-confidence and a commitment to society. The girl students are given training in health, law and social activities. They are also given training in self-employment and all possible other activities that enhance their social confidence. This scheme is open to all regular girl students.
Special Guidance Scheme :
The basic objective of this scheme is to help those students who are deprived of the latest knowledge of the subject they undertake at the first year level. Secondly, to inculcate the urge to educate one self, and that education liberates one internally as well as externally. Thirdly, to offer guidance to students in their career choices and the relevant subjects to be pursued by them to attain their best potential. The enrollment under the scheme is basically for students who are economically, financially backward and also to the reserved category students sellhouse-asis. There is no limit on the number of students who can be enrolled under this scheme.
