Document Delivery Service
Law students, teachers and legal practitioners need different references. These references include Case Law, Law Journals, and Articles in Law reports or explanations of certain points from commentary books or text books and so on. This literature/ material was collected by them in the form of Photo copies earlier. But it was expensive as well as inconvenient to handle. The readers expected this literature and reference material in their pen drives after getting it downloaded. Information was collected regarding measures to be taken to solve these difficulties and from the same, the idea of document delivery service came forward. In this service the required reference if delivered in a pen drives after getting it downloaded. Information from general books, articles from law journals and law reports are downloaded in pen drives with the help of scanner and computer. Handling of old books damages the binding and breaks the brittle paper into pieces. In spite of all these problems the needy must get proper information. In such cases the image of printed material can be taken with camera and can be downloaded in a pen drive with the help of the computer. Under this Scheme students can preserve question papers, syllabi, important articles in their personal collection in digital form. Students may contact the library for further information.
